March 2011 - Nespresso is coming to Nuweiba ! We shall soon be offering this excellent coffee brand in our Friend's Pub ! 25th January 2011 saw the first major anti-government demostrations in Egypt since many years. Lasting 18 days, the demonstrations attracted millions on to the streets of the major Egyptian cities. 11th February 2011, after almost 30 years in power, President Hosny Mubarak stepped down. Throughout the whole period of the unrest, Nuweiba remained as quiet and as peaceful as ever. We now wish all Egyptians the very best freedom, peace and prosperity ! Come join us here in our haven of peace and security ! December 2010 - The new rates have been finalised and are now valid up to the end of September 2012. Most rates frozen ! January 2010 - Nuweiba is saved ! Thanks to the European Investment Bank, the large power plant planned by the Electric Company will NOT be in Nuweiba !
